Job summary

Good Samaritan in Bismarck, ND seeks a Nursing Assistant (NA) for part-time evening shifts at the GSS ND Bis St Vincent Care Ctr. You will provide resident-centered care, assist with daily living activities, and support RN-supervised care in a long-term care setting.

The role requires CNA certification (or in process), a high school diploma or GED, and a minimum age of 16, with opportunities for CE credits and daily earnings access.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16.
• CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement.
• Satisfactorily completes yearly department specific competency testing and maintains continuing education credits (12 hours annually).
• When applicable, certified and registered with the Unlicensed Assistive Person Registry (UAP).

Responsibilities

• Provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of an RN.
• Assists residents with meals and snacks, bathing, toileting, grooming and mobility.
• Documents resident interactions, communicates changes to the charge nurse, and supports routine wellness activities.
