Job summary

Good Samaritan in Luverne, MN is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide resident-centered care in a long-term care setting. This part-time role offers 20 hours per week with day shifts (6am-2:30pm on some schedules) and a $2,500 sign-on bonus.

You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, help with meals and transfers, and document care per the care plan. CNA certification is required or obtained within four months of hire.

Qualifications

• Must have CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing, or be enrolled in a training program and certified within four months of hire.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care per care plan.
• Assist with daily living activities, meals, and hydration.
• Record and monitor vital signs and report changes to RN.
• Assist with transferring, positioning, and mobility, using proper techniques.
• Support hygiene, grooming, and toileting tasks.
• Document resident interactions and participate in care planning.
