Job summary

Good Samaritan in Waconia, MN is seeking a part-time Nursing Assistant (NA) to provide resident-centered care in a long-term care setting during evening shifts. The NA will assist with activities of daily living under RN supervision and contribute to a safe, compassionate environment.

The ideal candidate holds CNA certification and may be enrolled in a training program or in the process of certification. Total rewards include a $2,000 sign-on bonus and access to shift differentials for nights

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
• CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state-certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a registered nurse.
• Assists with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, vital signs, and basic health care needs.
• Transfers and positions residents, assists with mobility, and supports dining and nutrition."
• Documents resident interactions and communicates care concerns to the charge nurse.
