Job summary

Signature HealthCARE in Chapel Hill, NC is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant for full-time night shifts to provide compassionate resident care.

You will assist with ADLs, document vital signs, and support a safe, homelike environment under licensed nursing staff. Our benefits package includes health coverage, retirement plans, PTO, and access to Signature Perks.

Qualifications

• Active Nursing Assistant certification in the state of operation.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a nursing team under licensed staff.
• Customer service oriented with ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide ADLs within the scope of practice as defined by state regulation and the resident’s plan of care.
• Change bed linen and maintain appropriate grooming supplies in resident room on a regular basis.
• Ambulate and transfer residents, utilizing appropriate assistive devices and body mechanics.
• Record resident vital signs, weights and measurements, intake and output, food consumption, and other information, as assigned.
• Routinely turn and position residents, as necessary.
• Recognize and support resident rights and choices within the care environment.
• Maintain established housekeeping standards within assigned duty areas.
• Promptly answer call lights and assist with resident needs.
• Assist in the orientation and training of other staff, as requested.
• Other special projects and duties, as assigned.

How You Will Make a Difference

• Ability to work collaboratively within a nursing team and under the direction of licensed nursing staff.
