Qualifications

• Must have completed 80-hour certification courses in Geriatric Nursing.
• Must have passed Virginia NACEP test after completion of 80-hour certification course.
• Must have current Nursing Assistant license through Virginia Board of Nursing.
• CPR and First Aid certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, toileting and dining.
• Document resident care accurately while maintaining dignity and rights.
• Maintain a clean, safe, home-like environment and report changes to the nurse.
