Job summary

Sunnyside Retirement Community is seeking compassionate CNAs to join our healthcare team. You will provide person-centered care, assist with ADLs, and engage with residents, families, and colleagues to uphold quality care.

We offer Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN shifts with pay from $17 to $21 per hour. Evening/night and weekend differentials apply, plus benefits and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Completion of 120-hour geriatric nursing certification (or currently enrolled).
• Passed Virginia NACEP exam after certification.
• Current Virginia CNA license.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain it.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
• Multitasking with attention to detail.
• Ability to work in potentially stressful situations and respond to medical emergencies.
• Customer service with a hospitality approach when engaging with all individuals.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered care and assist with activities of daily living (ADLs).
