Job summary

Episcopal Homes of Minnesota in St. Paul’s Midway neighborhood seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide person-centered care in a home-like environment. You will assist with ADLs, monitor residents, and document health changes according to care plans.

The wage is $21.50-$24.50/hr plus a $1.50 shift differential, with a 2:30pm-10:30pm schedule for 0.8 FTE (64hrs). Experience in long-term care is preferred to support dignity and quality of life.

Qualifications

• CNA listed on Minnesota Registry.
• Excellent communication with elders and families.
• Ability to work with a care team and follow care plans.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and infection control.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with ADLs.
• Observe and respond to residents' needs to promote independence.
• Maintain confidentiality and privacy of elder care and documentation.
• Communicate with coworkers and interdisciplinary teams.
• Participate in CST meetings to discuss resident progress.
• Document changes in health, behavior, eating habits, skin condition, and psychosocial status.
• Follow infection control, fire safety, disaster preparedness, and facility policies.
• Assist with safe transfers, positioning, and mobility using appropriate equipment.
• Support meals and hydration according to dietary plans.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and shared spaces.
