Job summary

Tyler, MN-based Avera Sunrise Manor is seeking a Part-time Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Afternoon Shift care team, 2 p.m.-10:30 p.m. on an every-other-Friday-Saturday-Sunday schedule. You will provide direct resident care and support activities of daily living in a skilled nursing setting.

A successful candidate must be a MN CNA or be in a MN CNA class ending within 30 days of applying. Join a multidisciplinary team delivering compassionate care and helping move health forward.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required to practice in MN or in MN CNA class ending within 30 days of applying.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Less than 1 year related experience or training considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance to residents with activities of daily living.
• Assists with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care.
• Performs routine nursing tasks as directed by staff; documents observations.
• Assists with restocking supplies and maintaining a clean environment in the unit.
• Provides emotional, educational and spiritual support for families.
• Follows safety, infection control, and privacy policies.

Education

Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) - Licensing Board in MN
