Job summary

Avera Sunrise Manor in Minnesota is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to provide direct, personal care to residents in a skilled nursing facility, meeting their daily physical, social and spiritual needs while helping maintain independence. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor vital signs, document care, restock supplies and support families.

A Minnesota CNA license or enrollment in a MN CNA class ending within 30 days is required to be considered. Evenings shift—2 p.m.

Qualifications

• CNA license required in MN or in MN CNA class finishing within 30 days
• High School or GED Equivalent
• Less than 1 year related experience or training

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance to residents with activities of daily living
• Performs routine duties and non-routine duties as directed by nursing staff including bathing, dressing, grooming, transfers and mobility
• Measures or assists with vital signs and documents information
• Maintains clean environment and restocks supplies
• Supports families with emotional, educational and spiritual care
