Job summary

Avera Health is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Avera Morningside Heights Care Center in Minnesota to provide direct resident care and support daily living activities. You will work closely with nurses and a multidisciplinary team to deliver compassionate care and improve residents' quality of life.

The position offers a pay range of $19.75–$26.00 per hour, a $500 sign-on bonus, and a varied shift schedule (8–47 hours every two weeks) including days, evenings, and short shifts.

Qualifications

• CNA license required or enrolled in MN CNA class that ends within 30 days of applying.
• Able to meet hours, communicate effectively, and perform essential duties.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance to residents with activities of daily living.
• Performs routine and non-routine duties as directed by nursing staff.
• Documents vital signs and information on forms accurately.
• Restocks supplies and maintains a clean, safe unit environment.
• Supports families with emotional and spiritual needs when appropriate.
