Job summary

Good Samaritan Society is hiring a Nursing Assistant (CNA) for 8-hour evening shifts in Olathe, KS. The PT position involves resident-centered care, assisting with daily living activities, vital signs, and mobility under RN supervision.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred but not required.
• Minimum age 16. Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing required or in process of obtaining certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Record vital signs and assist with health monitoring.
• Assist with transfers, positioning, and mobility using proper techniques.
• Support meals, hydration, and dining experiences; assist with activities of daily living.
