Job summary

Beach Creek is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to support a resident with daily activities and nursing care per the care plan, under supervision.

You will identify residents, document metrics, assist with meals and hydration, and ensure safety across shifts. Strong adherence to safety policies and ability to follow directions are required for this hands-on role in a long-term care setting.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents using wristband or photo before delivering treatments or meals.
• Record entries on flow sheets (ADLs, I&Os, meals, vitals, bowel/bladder) clearly and descriptively.
• Use only authorized abbreviations as per facility policy.
• Report changes in resident condition to Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse promptly.
• Report accidents and incidents as they occur.
• Transport residents to activity areas as assigned.
• Monitor and supervise residents to ensure safety at all times.
• Assist with passing meal trays and verifying correct tray to resident.
• Participate in hydration program.
• Follow safety procedures and policies in employee handbook.

Education
