Job summary

BEARCREEK is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care for residents in a Texas facility. You will follow care plans, identify residents before any procedure, and report changes to the Nurse Supervisor.

The role emphasizes accurate documentation and maintaining a safe, respectful environment for all residents. This position requires a minimum of a 10th grade education and a current CNA license, with CPR preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Certified Nursing Assistant license per state laws.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business communications.
• CPR certification preferred but not required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care and services to residents per care plans.
• Identify residents before administering treatments using wristbands or photo IDs.
• Report changes in residents' conditions to Supervisor/Charge Nurse promptly.
• Document all entries clearly on flow sheets, notes, and charts.
• Maintain resident room readiness and prepare beds, labels, and admission kits as needed.
• Assist with feeding, hygiene, mobility, and daily living activities per resident needs.
• Protect residents' health information and report any unauthorized disclosures.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, and positioning; transport residents as required.
• Support handover, nursing reports, and adherence to policies and procedures.
