Job summary

The Nursing Assistant (NA) at Good Samaritan Hastings Village provides resident-centered care in a long-term care setting under the supervision of a registered nurse. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, taking and recording vital signs, and following infection control policies to ensure resident safety.

You will support transfers, mobility, dining, and psychosocial needs while maintaining a compassionate care approach.

Qualifications

• Qualified CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing or in process of obtaining certification.
• Minimum age 16 with prior clinical or nursing assistant experience preferred.
• A minimum of 12 hours continuing education annually and ongoing competency testing.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Assist with activities of daily living, vitals, documenting interactions, and infection prevention.
• Support transferring, positioning, range of motion, meals, and psychosocial engagement.
