Job summary

Sanford Health in Vermillion, SD is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide resident-centered care in our long-term care setting. You will assist with daily living activities, vital signs, and mobility under RN supervision.

Positions require CNA certification, 16+ age, and willingness to work evenings; eligible staff receive a comprehensive benefits package and ongoing training. This is a full-time, 40-hour weekly role with a strong emphasis on quality care.

Qualifications

• CNA certification with State Board or in process of endorsement.
• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age 16; prior LTC experience preferred.
• Maintains yearly competency testing and continuing education credits (12 hours annually).

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Record vital signs and communicate changes to the RN.
• Assist with transfers, mobility, and range of motion.
• Support meals, dining, and social activities; maintain cleanliness.
