Job summary

The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant (NA) for an evening, full-time position in a not-for-profit, Christian environment focused on quality care for seniors. Eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus, with comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, HSA, and a company matched 401(k).

Responsibilities include resident-centered nursing care under RN supervision, daily living assistance, and support with meals, transfers, and activities.

Qualifications

• CNA certification is required and must be obtained within four months if not already held.
• HS diploma or GED preferred but not strictly required.
• Experience in long-term care is preferred.
• Ability to follow care plans and infection prevention policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Assist residents with transferring, repositioning, and range of motion as needed.
• Assist with meals, dining, hydration, and overall nutrition.
• Document resident interactions and report care concerns to the charge nurse.
• Perform housekeeping and laundry tasks to maintain clean living areas.
• Support wellness and recreational activities for residents.
