Good Samaritan Society in Brainerd, MN is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide resident-centered nursing care during the evening shift. You will perform daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and support the care team under an RN's supervision.

Responsibilities include documenting care and assisting with transfers to ensure comfort and safety for residents. The position offers a full-time schedule (32 hours/week) with every other weekend and holidays, plus a $5,000

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16; prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in LTC preferred.
• CNA certification with State Board or in process of certification within four months; certification provided by facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Record vital signs and communicate changes to RN.
• Assist with transfers, range of motion, and mobility using proper techniques.
• Assist with meals, hydration, and daily living activities.
• Document care interactions and support communication within the nursing team.
• Provide housekeeping and laundry support to maintain clean living areas.
• Support wellness and recreational programs and participate in committees as needed.
