Job summary

Good Samaritan Society in Brainerd, MN is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our not-for-profit team delivering resident-centered care in a long-term care setting. You will assist with daily living activities, document care, and support the nursing staff under an RN's supervision.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant certification required or in progress.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum age 16; prior CNA experience in long-term care preferred.
• Requires state CNA certification within four months of start date.
• Annual continuing education credits training and competency testing are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and meals as needed.
• Record vital signs and communicate changes to the RN.
• Support safe transfers, mobility exercises, and psychosocial needs.
• Document care and participate in care planning and activities.
