Qualifications

• Licensed CNA with active certification.
• Minimum 6 months CNA experience.
• Strong desire to serve residents.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to work harmoniously with staff, residents and families.
• Patience, tact, cheerful disposition and emotional stability.
• Good general health and emotional stability.
• Ability to relate to ill, elderly residents.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per facility policies and nursing care procedures.
• Make resident rounds at shift start and every two hours.
• Verify resident identification before care or meals.
• Report missing ID bands to admission coordinator.
• Make beds and keep bedside/overbed tables clean.
• Ensure water pitchers are clean and within resident reach.
• Other duties as directed by Charge RN, supervisor or administrator.
