Job summary

PAM Health is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for night shifts in our San Antonio area facilities. The CNA provides patient care under supervision, does not administer medications, and supports the care team. Requires high school diploma and CNA certification (where required by state), plus current BLS.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) where required by state.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• No prior experience required; 2–3 years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit is preferred.

Responsibilities

• The CNA is responsible for performing patient care activities under supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse.
• Does not administer medications or therapy or assume independent responsibility for patient care.
• Performs duties in accordance with PAM Health policies and guidelines.
