Job summary

San Antonio Wellness and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality resident care. The role requires a CNA license, a genuine desire to serve the ill and elderly, and strong communication with residents and families.

Schedule is full-time with double weekends (Saturday and Sunday), 7am–11pm shifts. Benefits include health, dental, vision, life insurance and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• Minimum of 6 months experience as a CNA or clinical experience during CNA certification.
• Genuine desire to serve the ill, aged and infirm.
• Must read, write and speak the English language.
• Ability to deal tactfully with residents, families, visitors, and staff.
• Willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel.
• Must have good general health and emotional stability.
• Must relate to and care for ill, elderly, and at times hostile people.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per facility policies and nursing care procedures.
• Make resident rounds at shift start and every two hours to deliver care.
• Verify resident identity before care or meals.
• Report missing ID bands to admission coordinator immediately.
• Make beds and clean bedside/overbed tables.
• Ensure water pitchers are clean, filled, and reachable for residents.
• Assist with other duties as directed by supervisors.
