Qualifications

• Maintains current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification.
• Maintains current certification/registration by one of the listed agencies (CCMA, CMA, CMAC, NCMA, NRCMA, NRCAMA, RMA, ARMA, AAH).

Responsibilities

• Accountable to the Assistant Nurse Manager, Nursing Operations Manager, or Practice Manager for operational issues.
• Participates in quality initiatives, goal attainment, and clinical outcome process improvement activities.
• Provides effective and professional communication with patients and family members.
• Gathers patient data through interview and observation; assists during examination and procedures.
• Enters medication, laboratory, and diagnostic imaging orders into the EMR under a provider's direction.
• Maintains compliance with Orlando Health policies and infection control standards.
