Orlando Health Physician Associates is seeking a competent Medical Assistant to join our primary care team in Orlando, FL. You will support providers, perform routine clinical tasks, and assist with patient flow and documentation within our integrated care system.

Ideal candidates have CMA credentials, current BLS, and at least three years of experience. You will work under supervision, schedule tests, and coordinate communication between patients and clinicians to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifikationen

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Successful completion of Medical Assistant training from an approved technical school (or verifiable applicable work experience in patient care setting).
• Minimum three (3) years as Certified Medical Assistant.
• Maintains current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification – and Maintains current certification or registry by one of the following agencies: CMA/NHA, CCMA/AAMA, CMAC/AMCA, NCMA/NCCT, NRCMA/NRCAMA/NAHP, RMA/AMT/ARMA.

• Accountable to the Assistant Nurse Manager, Nursing Operations Manager, or Practice Manager for operational issues.
• Embraces quality initiatives, goal attainment, and clinical outcome process improvement activities.
• Supports effective communication with patients and family members.
• Works collaboratively with administrative and operations staff.
• Gathers patient data through interview and observation.
• Assists patients and families with preparation for examination.
• Assists clinician during examination and procedures.
• Documents patient data, treatments, and education.
• Schedules tests and coordinates specialty referrals as needed.
