Job summary

CALRegional seeks a part-time Clinical Medical Assistant Lead Instructor in Bloomington, CA. The program runs 8–10 weeks with weekday evenings (Mon-Thu 5:00 pm-8:30 pm). No teaching experience is required, and the role offers a flexible evening schedule.

Applicants should bring 5 years in medical assisting, familiarity with A&P, medical terminology, pharmacology, and medical math. CPR certification and strong organization are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience as a Medical Assistant or in a directly related field.
• Familiar with A&P, Medical Terminology, Basic Pharmacology and Medical Math.
• Front office experience.
• Back-office procedures EKG, Urine, Vitals, BPs, Temps, Injections, Adult-Pediatric, minor wound trays, and bandaging experience.
• No teaching experience required
• Must be energetic and able to deliver instruction passionately.
• Ability to mentor students and hold them accountable to program standards.
• Comfortable with computers and technology.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Advanced student learning through exemplary instruction by following an established course outline.
• Assist in student learning outcomes.
• Maintain current knowledge in the subject matter area and effective teaching/learning strategies.
• Maintain appropriate standards of professionalism and conduct.
• Facilitate all required skill labs with an assistant skill instructor
• Grade class assignments and exams.
