Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking a part-time Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to provide safe medication administration and compassionate daily care in a home-like setting. The role supports residents on the 2nd shift (6:30pm-6:30am) with base pay from $15.25 to $16.25 per hour, plus shift differentials and benefits.

You’ll work under licensed staff to ensure medications are administered correctly, monitor residents, document care, and assist with activities of daily living, fostering safety

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a CMA program that meets state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications under supervision of licensed staff.
• Verify resident identity and document dosage, time, and observations.
• Monitor responses and report adverse reactions promptly.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Recognize changes in resident condition and inform charge staff.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to resident care and intake/output.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers as required.
• Support team members as needed and perform light housekeeping.
• Answer phones, greet visitors, and assist with tours as requested.
