Americare Senior Living seeks a dedicated Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to administer medications and provide compassionate daily care to residents in a supportive, home-like environment. You will work under licensed staff to ensure safety, accuracy, and dignity in every interaction, helping residents maintain wellness and independence.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a CMA program meeting state requirements.
• Active CMA certification in good standing required.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications under supervision of licensed staff.
• Verify resident identity prior to administration; document dosage/time/observations.
• Monitor residents for medication responses and report concerns.
• Assist residents with daily living activities including hygiene, meals, mobility.
• Recognize and report changes in resident condition to charge staff.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to resident care, intake, and output as ordered.
• Assist with admission, discharge, and transfer documentation as required.
• Support team members by providing assistance as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping duties in resident rooms and common areas.
• Answer phones, greet visitors, and assist with tours as requested.
