Job summary

Advocate Health, Atrium Health Pineville Pharmacy, is seeking a part-time pharmacist for the 2nd shift (12:30–21:00) with 8 hours per week and every 4th weekend requirement. Licensure in state of practice is required, with ACPE-accredited degree or NABP FPGEC certification.

No prior experience is required; immunization and injectable certs may be needed depending on area. The role emphasizes patient counseling, pharmacotherapy design, and teamwork within the pharmacy and broader care team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Doctorate degree in pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited school or an FPGEC certificate from NABP.
• Licensed in the state(s) of practice or eligible for reciprocity.
• Immunization and non-vaccine injectable certification as required by practice area.
• Credentialing and privileging required based on area of practice.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees pharmaceutical care and designs therapy regimens.
• Counsels patients and caregivers on medication therapy, adverse effects, compliance, and administration.
• Implements and monitors pharmacotherapeutic regimens using current literature.
• Reviews medication orders and participates in emergency management when needed.
• Supports medication safety and quality improvement activities.
