Job summary

Advocate Health’s Wake Forest/Winston campus seeks a Clinical Pharmacist for the North Tower Pharmacy. This full-time, second-shift role (2:45 PM–9:15 PM, Mon–Fri, no weekends) focuses on medication therapy management, patient counseling, and safe drug use in a hospital setting.

The role requires a Pharm.D. or Pharm.D. degree with a current NC pharmacist license and immunization certification. Opportunities include teaching students and participating in quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Current state pharmacist license in good standing or eligible for reciprocity.
• Immunization and non-vaccine injectable certification may be required by area of practice.
• Credentialing and privileging required based on area of practice.

Responsibilities

• Oversees pharmaceutical care, including literature review and designing therapy regimens.
• Counsels patients and caregivers on medication therapy, adverse effects, compliance, and administration.
• Evaluates and monitors patient-specific phamacotherapeutic regimens; ensures compliance with policies and procedures.
