Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy with a Pharm.D. or B.S. in Pharmacy.
• Current state pharmacist license in good standing (NC) or eligible for reciprocity.

Responsibilities

• Oversees pharmaceutical care, evaluates literature, and designs patient-specific regimens.
• Provides patient and caregiver counseling on therapy, adherence, adverse effects, and administration.
• Reviews medication orders and participates in medical emergencies as applicable.
• Supports medication safety and quality improvement activities.
• Mentors pharmacy staff and precepts students as assigned.
