Job summary

Advocate Christ Medical Center Pharmacy seeks a part-time pharmacist for predominantly weekend coverage with a minimum of 2 shifts per month. Shifts are 7:30a-4:00p or 2:00p-10:30p, and the role includes overseeing medication use, counseling patients, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Licensed in the state of practice or eligible for reciprocity.
• Immunization and non-vaccine injectable certification required.
• Credentialing and privileging required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees pharmaceutical care and evaluates literature to design medication regimens.
• Provides patient counseling to patients and caregivers on therapy, adverse effects, compliance, handling, and administration.
• Designs and monitors patient-specific pharmacotherapeutic regimens and documents per policies.
