Job summary

Advocate Health's Winston-Salem North Tower Pharmacy is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist for the second shift (12:45 PM–9:15 PM, Monday–Friday, no weekends) with a sign-on bonus for eligible candidates. This full-time role offers 40 hours weekly and a comprehensive benefits package.

The pharmacist will oversee pharmaceutical care, counsel patients and caregivers, review orders, participate in safety and quality initiatives, mentor learners, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal

Qualifications

Current state pharmacist license in good standing or eligible for reciprocity.
Immunization and non-vaccine injectable certification required based on area of practice.
Credentialing and privileging required based on area of practice.

Responsibilities

Oversees pharmaceutical care and designs medication therapy regimens based on biomedical literature.
Counsels patients and caregivers on medication therapy, adverse effects, and proper use.
Reviews medication orders and prescriptions for accuracy.
Maintains medication safety and participates in quality improvement activities.
Precepts pharmacy students, residents, and learners as assigned.
