Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a physical science is required.
• New York State CLT license or a limited permit is required.
• At least 1 year lab technologist experience is required; 2–3 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency tests on blood, serum, spinal fluid and other body fluids using automated and manual equipment.
• Review data prior to release.
• Monitor quality control data and resolve QC failures.
• Prepare reagents, take inventory, and advise supervisor as required.
