Located at Moses campus in New York, the position requires a Bachelor's in a physical science, NY Laboratory Technologist license (or limited permit) and at least 1 year of experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a physical science is required or preferred.
• New York State Laboratory Technologist license or limited permit required.
• Minimum 1 year of Lab Technologist experience required.
• Laboratory and hospital information system computers and various automated equipment are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency tests on blood, serum, spinal fluid and other body fluids using automated and manual equipment; monitor specimens to ensure timely work completion.
• Review data prior to release.
• Report all panic, abnormal, etc. values.
• Maintain QC data on tests, resolve QC failures and document actions as required.
• Maintain records of work performed and equipment maintenance logs.
