Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, biological, clinical or medical laboratory science or equivalent per 42CFR493.1489(b)(3)(ii).
• ASCP certification preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and complex laboratory procedures accurately in the LIS with timely reporting.
• Maintains quality control, preventive maintenance, and proper documentation.
• Ensures safety and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Assists in training and competency of staff, students, and rotating personnel.
