Job summary

RM Advisory Services, LLC seeks a dedicated laboratory assistant to perform CLIA-waived tests under supervision, prepare specimens, and assist with basic QC. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and two years in a clinical setting with data handling experience.

Training in health/medical assisting is preferred. You will work evening shift Mon-Fri with responsibility for accurate data entry and SOP adherence.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Two years in a clinical environment with data processing/specimen handling experience.
Graduate of health/medical assistant or similar training program.

Responsibilities

Performs CLIA waived laboratory testing under supervision and enters results into LIS.
Accurately completes work according to SOPs.
Prioritizes work to respond to STAT/Emergency requests.
Follows SOPs for specimen handling and communicates results to customers.
Assists with basic technical duties related to QC and notifies a technologist of discrepancies.
Calibrates pipettes and thermometers as required.
Prepares reagents/controls for testing.
Collects/prepares specimens for analysis with proper labeling.
Maintains supplies and notifies tech of shortages.
Participates in CSI and continuing education.
