Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• Must have CNA, nursing student with one medical-surgical rotation, 3 months of clinical care, or successful completion of CATP.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living for patients.
• Reposition, ambulate, and assist in mobility.
• Make occupied and unoccupied beds; transport patients and supplies.
• Collect, label and transport specimens; retrieve blood products.
• Perform point-of-care testing; obtain vital signs and weights.
• Monitor intake/output and manage Foley catheters.
