Job summary

Winchester Hospital, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join the patient care team. The role provides clinical and administrative support on a unit, with a 40-hour weekly night shift and rotating weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant preferred; nursing students with clinical rotation acceptable.
• BLS certification required.
• At least 3 months clinical care experience; hospital/unit training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative assistance on the unit and perform basic procedures to care for patients.
• Assist with ADLs, ambulation, bed management, transport, specimen handling, vitals, and EKGs.
• Provide administrative support so the care team can focus on patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical charts and complete forms for daily use.
• Copy and fax paperwork to expedite patient care across departments.
