Job summary

Winchester Hospital, part of Beth-Israel-Lahey-Health, seeks a Clinical Associate for 36 hours per week on the night shift. The role supports nursing teams by performing essential tasks to ensure patient comfort, safety and care quality.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, BLS certification, and one of the CNA options or CATP completion. Fluency in English and basic computer skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
• High school diploma/equivalent required; CNA or nursing student with clinical rotation preferred.
• BLS – Basic Life Support certification required.
• Must meet one of the listed nursing assistant/clinical care options.
• Successful completion of Winchester Hospital CATP.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with activities of daily living.
• Repositioning and ambulating patients.
• Making occupied and unoccupied beds.
• Assisting in transporting patients, beds, supplies and equipment.
• Collecting, labeling and transporting specimens.
• Retrieving and signing out blood products.
• Accurately performs point of care testing.
• Obtains vital signs and weights.
• Maintains intake and output measurements.
• Removes Foley catheters and saline locks.
