Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Clinical Associate for Winchester Hospital to support patient care during 12-hour night shifts. Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, positioning, bed management, transporting supplies, collecting specimens, and performing point-of-care testing under nurse supervision.

Required: high school diploma or equivalent, BLS, and eligibility as a CNA, nursing student with clinical rotation, three months of clinical care, or completion of the Winchester

Qualifications

• High school diploma/equivalent strongly preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Must be CNA, Nursing Student with rotation, Three months of clinical care, or CATP.
• Must read, write and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living.
• Reposition and ambulate patients.
• Make occupied and unoccupied beds.
• Assist in transporting patients, beds, supplies and equipment.
• Collect, label and transport specimens.
• Retrieve and sign out blood products.
• Perform point of care testing.
• Obtain vital signs and weights.
• Maintain intake and output measurements.
• Remove Foley catheters and saline locks.
