Jersey Central Power and Light (JCP&L), a FirstEnergy subsidiary, is hiring for a Clerk II in Holmdel, NJ. The role is 3pm-11pm, Sunday-Monday, Thursday-Saturday, with Tuesday and Wednesday off. Starting pay ranges from $26.89 to $33.59 per hour, with potential adjustments based on business needs.

Primary duties include routine clerical work, mail and records management, data entry, and operating office equipment. Familiarity with company safety rules and professional conduct is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must pass Edison Electric Institute SASS test.
• Strong interpersonal and professional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine clerical duties and data entry.
• Sorts and distributes mail and materials; maintains records.
• Operates office equipment and prepares/maintains logs and reports.
• Handles telephone calls and schedules appointments.
• May be assigned to other duties within the same area as needed.
