Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, 1+ year of customer service, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Overtime may be required; knowledge of tariffs and regulatory tariffs is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year of customer service experience preferred.
• Must pass the Edison Electric Institute SASS test.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Overtime may be required, especially after 9 months as a CSR.
• Ability to learn company tariffs and state regulatory commissions.

Responsibilities

• Receive customer service requests and prepare paperwork to create or terminate electric service.
• Interact with customers at Payment Windows.
• Accept credit deposits and customer payments; balance cash drawer and prepare bank deposits.
• Make calls to delinquent accounts and support collection activities.
• Prepare orders for record correction, field investigation and collection documents.
• Perform administrative work for active and inactive accounts; multi-task during calls.
