Job summary

FirstEnergy's Jersey Central Power & Light division seeks an experienced supervisor to lead real-time distribution control operations in Holmdel, NJ. You will mentor field crews, ensure dispatch accuracy, and supervise ADMS/SCADA/DMS usage while upholding safety and reliability standards.

The role requires an engineering degree or equivalent experience, strong leadership and communication, and the ability to analyze voltage drops and loadings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Associate of Engineering degree (Electrical preferred) with 3+ years related work experience, or a high school diploma with 5 years relevant work experience.
• Leadership in operational supervision or dispatching duties.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of dispatching information systems and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee real-time distribution operations and supervise field crews.
• Direct dispatch activities and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
• Utilize ADMS/SCADA/DMS and perform system analyses as needed.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching.
