Jersey Central Power & Light, a subsidiary of FirstEnergy Corp., is looking for a Senior Capital Specialist - NJ Distribution Engineering. The Senior Capital Specialist conducts financial analysis, data interpretation, and information presentations to the leadership team. The business analyst works with stakeholders to identify goals and best practices, gathering and analyzing information relevant to organization needs. The analyst provides insights to help decision‑making and align capital and resource allocation with the business budget. They drive initiatives for safety, financial planning, and data utilization, identifying business areas for safety performance improvement, efficiency gains, and stronger processes. They communicate findings and help implement changes to support state model objectives.
The position reports onsite to either the Morristown General Office in Morristown, NJ or the Holmdel Office in Holmdel, NJ. Other service centers in JCP&L will be considered. Candidates must reside or be willing to relocate to the NJ area of operations for further consideration.
