Job summary

Senior Lifestyle Corporation in Auburn, ME is seeking a Certified Medication Aide for the Evening Shift in Assisted Living. You will administer prescribed medications, provide personal care, and support residents with daily living activities.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, a Medication Technician certification per state regulations, and basic computer skills. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential to care for seniors in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1+ month of experience; Senior Living preferred.
• Current Medication Technician certification per state regulations.
• Acceptable proficiency in English to perform duties and respond in emergencies.
• Basic computer proficiency: Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments as MAR/TAR indicate.
• Provide personal care and nursing tasks (ADLs, vitals, etc.).
• Document in daily logs and notify supervisor of concerns.
• Count and sign narcotics with approved personnel.
• Receive, verify, and store medications per policy; notify discrepancies.
• Restock medication carts and maintain clean work areas.
• Attend training and in-services as required.
