Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years' experience as a Central Sterile Technician in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
• Central Supply Certified certification required within two years from date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, prepare and sterilize central sterile trays, instruments and equipment.
• Manage inventory and restock supplies; perform data entry and patient charge card batching.
• Demonstrate knowledge of department locations and effective communication in all interactions.
