Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent or related experience required for new hires.
• Two (2) years’ experience as a Central Sterile Technician in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
• Central Supply Certified certification, preferred.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate.

Responsibilities

• Decontamination, preparation and sterilization of Central Sterile trays, instruments and equipment; manage inventory and restock supplies.
• Access multiple department locations within the facility and communicate effectively with staff.
• Demonstrate knowledge of patient supplies and equipment; perform computer data entry and patient charge card batching.
