Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Driver, Dedicated Backhaul to support our food distribution network. You will operate tractor-trailer or straight trucks on local and over-the-road routes, delivering loads to PFG warehouses and customers with DOT-compliant safety and timeliness.

The role emphasizes customer interaction and accurate paperwork in a team environment. Schedule is Sunday through Thursday evenings, starting at 4:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A license.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• DOT Health Card must be current or obtained.

Responsibilities

• Drive to assigned supplier/vendor and/or PFG warehouse locations according to a predetermined route and delivery schedule.
• Delivers assigned loads back to PFG warehouse locations for receiving into inventory.
• Performs appropriate load and paperwork inspections including but not limited to product counts, invoices of products that have been loaded, quality checks.
