Job summary

PFG Customized is seeking a Driver, Dedicated Backhaul to operate tractor-trailer and straight trucks on local and interstate routes for timely delivery of food and related products. You will interact with customers professionally, handling pre- and post-trip inspections and DOT compliance.

Responsibilities include delivering loads to warehouses, loading/unloading as needed, and maintaining accurate paperwork. Safety and punctuality are essential in this critical logistics role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent required.
• CDL-A required with valid license.
• 6 months commercial driving experience or more.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test and have DOT Health Card or able to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Drive to assigned supplier/vendor and/or PFG warehouse locations per route and schedule.
• Deliver loads to PFG warehouses, ensuring timely pick-up and correct product.
• Complete required load paperwork and inspections accurately.
• Maintain clear communication with supervisor about route, load, and schedule.
• Secure equipment and complete all necessary paperwork at shift end.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
