Job summary

Community Resources for Justice is seeking an on-site Residential Supervisor for a Sunday-Thursday shift (4:00pm-12:00am) in New Haven, CT. The role focuses on ensuring safety and guiding residents as they transition back to the community.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred) with strong verbal communication and the ability to manage multiple residents' needs. A valid driver’s license is required in a residential setting.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Some college coursework preferred.
• Strong verbal communication; Spanish a plus.
• Ability to track and manage multiple clients' needs simultaneously.
• Basic math and computer skills are expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site supervision of residents to ensure program rules and safety.
• Oversee sign-in/sign-out procedures, contraband control, drug screens and breathalyzers.
• Conduct room inspections and periodic head counts (scheduled and unscheduled).
• Assist Clinical Director or Clinical Case Manager with services such as group facilitation when needed.
• Immediately notify program staff, DOC staff and law enforcement per policy; assist with meals if required.
