Job summary

Oakmont Senior Living is seeking a Care Provider to support residents with daily living activities and compassionate care on Wednesdays to Saturdays, 2pm-10pm. The position offers a competitive pay range and a supportive team environment on a premier California senior living campus.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, monitoring resident well-being, communicating changes to supervisors, and maintaining a safe, respectful environment.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
• Vaccination/health safety requirements may apply per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in Activities of Daily Living (ADL) per care plan (eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, continence).
• Respond promptly to residents' needs while maintaining dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
• Notify supervisor immediately of any change in resident condition.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with coworkers and other departments.
